System Analysis and Conceptual Design: Experience shows that a ‘right first time’ concept greatly reduces lifecycle effort in terms of documentation and reviews. As soon as safety goals are defined we can assist with the hazard analysis and goal definition if required, we can analyse the item you wish to develop in its intended context, and using techniques developed in house determine the safety concept and very importantly the most suitable architecture to ensure compliance with the safety goals.

Hardware and Software Design: One of our core businesses is ECU development. Our processes, core code and application interfaces allow straightforward integration of customer applications into our off-the-shelf or bespoke ECUs. The applications can be developed by our customer or IN-RDVS, the customer using traditional or auto-coded methods.

Process and Design Analysis: Whether software reviews, failure rate analysis, determination of fault metrics, confirmation / safety reviews or audits, we can assist you in meeting your targets. This may be an up-front gap analysis on your processes, guidance on how to implement an ISO 26262 based approach into your standards or independent reviews.

Practical Approach: At the heart of our methodology lies a practical approach to meeting ISO 26262. It is a complex standard and a realistic approach is needed in order to introduce the processes into product lifecycle activities.
