RDVS has kicked off 2013 on a high having presented at the ‘Symposium on International Automotive Technology’ (SIAT) in Pune, India. Andy Williams’ paper on ‘Quantification of Plausibility Cross-Checks in Hybrids and Range Extender Vehicles’ was well received by the audience at India’s prestigious automotive conference and exhibition.
The theme of this year’s symposium was “Towards Safer, Cleaner & Quieter World”. This fit in well with the services and components RDVS has experience with, and particularly the extensive expertise RDVS has with Hybrid and Electric vehicles.
The symposium was well attended with all the major OEMs in India represented, as well as a number of Indian ministers. Similarly, all the major Indian automotive engineering firms had a presence in the exhibition halls, as well as a number of international companies.
RDVS had a presence throughout the event by exhibiting on the UK Trade and Investment stand. This remained busy throughout the event with a large number of Indian visitors interested in what British engineering companies had to offer the Indian market.
