Alister Mitchell’s many years’ experience in the automotive field as a lawyer and commercial consultant began at the newly privatised Jaguar Cars in 1984, where as a lawyer he supported engineering, manufacturing as well as Jaguar’s marketing & personnel functions. He became Jaguar’s head of Legal Services, and then in 1989 moved on to become the Group Company Secretary and later a director of the multinational TWR Group. He was a director of Autonova AB, a joint venture with Volvo in Sweden, facilitated to make 40,000 cars per year. He was also a board director of Arrows Grand Prix International, the Formula 1 Team. He also has worked in the petrochemicals, brewing and mental healthcare sectors and brings a wealth and breadth of experience to his role at RDVS.
